This manual will guide you on creating a new company for Bankfeed DEMO demonstrations using the app "Bankfeed - Demo Generator".

Here are the main steps:

1. Create a New company using Evaluation Sample data

Information

Creating a new company may take about 15 minutes, so prepare beforehand.

2. Generate Demo Setup

Open "Integration Setup (Bankfeed)" select Actions > Generate Demo Setup.

This step creates number series, posting groups, and G/L accounts necessary for testing data.

Demo Data Generator creates demo entries in random currencies, if you want to limit it (for example, that Data Generator would create only entries in EUR, GBP and USD), you can do it :

Go to Bank Data Providers (Bankfeed).
Select the line with DATA-GENERATOR.
Click Setup in actions.
In field Currency Filter enter the Currencies.

Filtering currencies is important for Payment Reconciliation journal, as it does not Apply entries with different curiencies and the recognition is very low.

3. Go through Bankfeed Assisted Setup

Here, you can start your Bankfeed Demo. Open Assisted Setup, select "Set up Bankfeed Connection".

First, go through Integration setup assisted setup:

Afterwards, go through Connection assisted setup.

Create a new company account or use your existing one.
Select the Country Code and the bank institution "Bankfeed - Data Generator".

On the connection page, please enter Username and Password; it doesn't matter what will be entered.

This connection step does not create any connections or entries. It's just for demo purposes.

Finish the Assisted Setup.

4. Run function "Process Statement Batches (Bankfeed)"

It is important to select Bank Data Provider Code " DATA-GENERATOR":

Running this function creates Statement Lines (Bankfeed) and Journal lines. It can be run as many times as you want and constantly creates new entries.
