How to make a primary setup
Shop Floor Setup
To open Shop Floor Setup go to search bar and enter “Shop Floor Setup”. After this, the Shop Floor Setup page opens as shown in detail.

| Work Shift Length (h) | User enters spent minutes on operation. Before posting system compares minutes with Work Shift Length (h) to avoid unrealistic time postings. If zero entered – no check is applied. |
| Auto Cr. Shop Fl. O. from prod. O. | Choose this option if you want to create shop floor orders automatically. Shop floor order will be created when a production order status changes from firm planned to released. |
| Old Empl. Log Entry Fin. Reason Code | Enter finish reason code for old employee log entry. This field is used in Report Finish Old Employee Log Entries to assign reason how user was logged out. |
| Def. Empl. Log Entry Fin. Reason Code | Enter default finish reason code for closing employee log entry. This field is used in Shop Floor Input page when user selects to Unregister action. System suggests this default value for logout reason. |

| Auto post Shop Fl. O. Operation | Choose this option if you want automatically to post shop floor operation without review into capacity ledger entries. |

Shop Floor Employees
To open Shop Floor Employees go to search bar and enter “Shop Floor Employees”. After this, the Shop Floor Employees page opens as shown in detail.
Create a shop floor employee list. For every employee, which will be using Softera.FDC module, assign a unique barcode. With this barcode user will be able to identify himself and post actions.

| Barcode | All shop floor employees must have assigned barcode. By this field in shop floor registration page is recognized who is entering information. |
Shop Floor Operations
To open Shop Floor Operations go to search bar and enter “Shop Floor Operations”. After this, the Shop Floor Operations page opens as shown in detail.
Create a Shop Floor Operation list. For every work center or machine center assign a unique barcode. With this barcode machine or work center will be identified.

| Suggest Run Time | System suggests spent time in Shop Floor Input window. Value is calculated from employee log entry Starting date time and current date time |
| Multiply Run Time by Number of Employees | In case, if there are more than one employee registered on the same task, system multiplies by employee number. No need to register spent time for every employee |
Shop Floor Reasons
To open Shop Floor Reasons go to search bar and enter “Shop Floor Reasons”. After this, the Shop Floor Reasons page opens as shown in detail. Enter all available reasons for employees to select.
